ENDSARS PROTESTERS CAUSE GRIDLOCK AT LEKKI TOLL GATE (VIDEO)

Gridlock at Lekki toll gate as protesters continue with the #ENDSARS protest. As of yesterday the Inspector General of Police (Mr. Mohammed Adamu) announced the disbandment of FSARS from the 36 states including the FCT following the public outrage of Nigerian Youth.

As early hours of today, protesters continue as they demand 5 responsibilities from the government.

1.      IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF ALL ARRESTED PROTESTERS.

2.      JUSTICE FOR ALL DECEASED VICTIMS OF POLICE BRUTALITY AND APPROPRIATE COMPENSATION FOR THEIR FAMILIES.

3.      SET UP INDEPENDENT BODY TO OVERSEE THE INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION OF ALL REPORTS OF POLICE MISCONDUCT.

4.      PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION & TRAINING OF ALL DISBANDED EX-SARS OFFICERS.

5.      INCREASE POLICE SALARY SO THEY ARE ADEQUATELY COMPENSATED FOR PROTECTING LIVES & PROPERTIES OF CITIZENS.

They said if these demands are not met, they are not going to back down.
