Fire Outbreak in Popular Plank Market in Mushin (Videos)

 

Amu plank market in Mushin has been razed by fire destroying properties worth millions of naira. The fire started around 12:30 am early hours of Saturday morning, January 25, 2020,

According to an eyewitness, “he said the fire started from a spot in the market, spread to other buildings and other shops before the LASEMA team came to the market. He said as at the time the fire started there was no electric power supply, so it was so difficult to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak".

The fire was combated by combine efforts of LASEMA, Lagos State Fire Service, and Federal Fire Service.

While other unaffected marketers were trying to evacuate their goods for safety, there was no loss of lives according to the report.
